TIREDNESS
Causes
Pregnant women may
normally feel tired in their first three months
of pregnancy, while their body is busily transforming
a single cell into a miniature baby; and in
the last three months, when your baby is very
active and growing more rapidly. The problem
is however much worse if your routine is inflexible
because of employment. So try to relax as
much as possible during the middle three months,
which tend to be easier.
Remedies
- Do
not exert yourself and cut down non-essential
chores.
- Take
naps at home and at work whenever you get
the opportunity.
- If
you don't need to stand then sit. If you
don't need to sit then lie down. Think of
your health and well-being first.
- Ask
for help. Tell family and friends how tired
you are. It is not necessary that you have
to do the entire house work or office work.
Feel free to ask for some assistance.
- If
you have to put on a good front at work,
don't try to be a superwoman at home too.
