FEELING HOT AND WARM
Causes
During pregnancy you are
likely to feel warmer than normal. This is due to
hormonal changes and to an increase in blood supply
to the skin. Pregnant women tend to sweat more because
of the warm feeling.
Remedies
- Wear
loose fitting clothes.
- Wear
clothes made of natural fibres (e.g. Cotton) as
these are more absorbent and breathe more than
synthetic fibres.
- Keep
your room cool as far as possible.
- Wash
frequently to stay fresh.
- Include
diet that is not hot and spice and will keep you
cooler.
