Summer
is here and it's hectic and tiring. With summer comes
loads of work since kids have summer vacations you have
to arrange for picnics, outings, etc and practically
be after them the whole day. Also summer time brings
in guest. All this leaves you completely exhausted and
you deserve to give yourself some time to pamper yourself.
Try a few of these easy ideas that will make you feel
relaxed and refreshed and soon you will realise that
summer can be so much fun.
- Once
you finish your morning chores prepare for a quite
afternoon for yourself. Start by pampering your
feet. Go in for a proper pedicure
and give your feet all the care and attention it
requires. Paint your toenails. Choose bright colours
for your feet and add a toe ring for extra sparkle.
- If
you want to spend the entire afternoon at home then
prepare yourself some iced tea or try chilled fruit
juice and read a book or watch TV or listen to your
favourite music.
- Eat
fresh. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available
all throughout the summer, so take the opportunity
to eat as much fresh produce as possible. Not only
is it delicious, but it is often low in fat, and
high in fibre, vitamins and minerals.
- Go
on a shopping spree. Buy yourself a few sexy summer
outfits and cosmetics. Put some colour in your wardrobe.
Look for tops in bright colours or try a bold patterned
skirt. Summer's fabrics are light and easy going
so be a little playful with your colour choices
and see what happens. Always choose cotton dresses.
- During
summer put on as less make-up as possible because
your face needs to breathe. Try a little bronser
on your face in place of foundation, or try using
an oil-free product to combat shine. Be natural.
- If
you want to get back in shape then this is perfect
time to get slim and trim. There are so many things
to do outside - brisk walking, swim, play some sports
- so take the chance to get outside and enjoy a
little exercise.
