Thirty women achievers sashyed down the ramp for a Cancer Patient's Aid fund raiser in Mumbai recently.

A fashion show brings images of youthful ultra-slim models clothed in fancy designer wear sashaying down ramps. This was a fashion show, with a difference though. Alongwith younger girls, middle-aged women, all of them achievers from different walks of life, took to the ramp. It was an evening adorned with style and substance. All names to reckon with, from our dream girl Hema Malini to the Chaiyan Chaiyan lass, Malaika Arora Khan to Mrs World Aditi Gowitrikar. "I feel extremely happy and greatful to be one of the participants aling with 30 other women achievers from different fields. It is so wonderful to see all of them together, coming forward for such a noble cause," said Hema Malini. Designer and choreographer, Hemant Trivedi attributed the success of the show to the individualities of the women achievers. Other achievers who walked down the ramp included the likes of Renuka Shahane, Reha Pillai and Amrita Arora. The participants walked tall and confident with just four hour practice under Hemant Trivedi. This was the participants and organisers determination and will to help the needy that really worked out.
